Employers have a duty to foster a supportive and inclusive environment that prioritizes mental health. Mental Health America reports that 19.86% of adults are currently experiencing mental illness, which is nearly 50 million Americans, with 4.91% suffering from severe mental illness. Issues like drug overdoses, suicides, domestic violence, workplace violence, and burnout are on the rise and are evident in the workplace, whether employees are on-site or working remotely.
